Contributions to Jim Risch for U.S. Senate Committee are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. By law, the maximum amount an individual may contribute is $2,300 for the election in May 2008 and $2,300 for the election in November 2008. Couples may contribute $4,600 per election. Federal multi-candidate PACs may contribute $5,000 per election. The Jim Risch for U.S. Senate Committee is required by federal law to report the name, address, occupation, and employer of each individual who contributes over $200 per election cycle. Contributions by corporations, foreign nationals (non green-card holders), labor unions and federal government contractors are prohibited.
